Timber Harvesting Operator’s Licence (THOL)
A Timber Harvesting Operator’s Licence (THOL) must be held by anyone engaged in commercial timber harvesting in Victoria's State forests, where timber harvesting is defined as 'the harvesting of any tree, or part of any tree for the purpose of sale or processing and sale'.
This does not include harvesting of firewood for domestic use.
