Development of the Timber Industry Strategy
The Timber Industry Strategy, was launched on 18 December 2009 following extensive public consultation with industry, environment and community stakeholders. A comprehensive development process was undertaken to develop the Timber Industry Strategy public consultation draft which informed the Timber Industry Strategy.
The public consultation draft was released in April 2009. Following a 60 day public consultation period three stakeholder roundtable meetings were held between June and August 2009 to address issues arising from formal submissions.
