Proposal to establish a commercial dive fishery for scallops in Port Phillip Bay

If you have a commercial interest in the proposed fishery, please register your details below to receive further information about the proposed commercial dive scallop fishery in Port Phillip Bay.

Please note that the Expression of Interest Process has now opened. Stakeholders that have a commercial interest in the fishery, and who wish to participate in the auction of the Scallop Dive (Port Phillip Bay) Access Licence (and quota) are invited to read the Commercial Scallop Dive Fishery (Port Phillip Bay) Baseline Management Arrangements and submit an EOI Application.

EOI Applications must be received by Fisheries Victoria no later than 5 pm AEDT, 18 December 2013.

Collection Statement

The contact details you provide will be used by Fisheries Victoria to provide further information to you about the fishery and public auction.

If you consent, Fisheries Victoria will make your name and the contact details for your preferred method of contact (email or telephone) available to other registered parties who have also consented to sharing their information and being contacted. This will enable parties with an interest in the commercial fishery to contact each other for the purpose of discussing the potential to form collaborative arrangements for investing in the fishery.

Your personal information will only be made available to other registered parties if you provide your consent by clicking on the tickbox below.

You are free to withhold your consent to sharing your personal information with others. If you do not give your consent, this will mean that others who have registered their interest in the fishery cannot contact you through the register and you will not be able to gain access to their contact details. It will not affect your eligibility to participate in the public auction.

Your personal information will not be disclosed by Fisheries Victoria to any other organisation, unless required or authorised by law.

Terms of Use

The Register is provided to allow registered parties to contact one another to discuss the potential to form collaborative or cooperative business structures for investing in the fishery.

If you access the Register, you agree to use the information contained on the Register for the sole purpose of contacting those persons listed on the Register to discuss the potential for forming collaborative arrangements for investing in the fishery. You agree not to distribute or otherwise share the personal information contained in the Register, including the name and contact details of those listed in the Register.

Please note the following before using the information contained in the Register:

  • The Register is not a complete record of all parties interested in the fishery. It only contains the names and contact details of those who have consented to sharing their personal information.
  • Users of the Register will be responsible for making their own assessment of the Register, including the any consequences associated with its use.
  • Your use of the Register is subject to your understanding and acceptance of its Terms of Use.

Breach of Terms of Use

Breach of these Terms of Use, or any unlawful activity in connection with the Register, may result in legal action under any applicable Commonwealth or Victorian law, or result in your disqualification to participate in the fishery and allocation/auction process.

Fisheries Victoria and the State of Victoria reserves the right to review, block or reject any communication in connection to the Register and/or the right to withhold access and distribution of the Register where it considers there has been a breach of these Terms of Use.

Disclaimer

While the Register has been compiled with due care, the State of Victoria makes the Register available on the understanding that the State of Victoria and its employees and agents:

  1. do not warrant that the Register is complete or free from error
  2. do not accept any liability in relation to the operability of the Register
  3. do not accept any responsibility or liability that you or any other person may incur for any loss, damage, personal injury, cost or expense whether direct, indirect, consequential or special, incurred by, or arising by reason of, you or any person using, disclosing or relying on the Register or the information contained in the Register and whether by reason of any act, omission, error or misrepresentation in the Register or otherwise.

The State of Victoria may make any improvements or modifications to the Register at any time and without any prior notice. There may be certain events which may make the Register unavailable for an indefinite period of time.

Your acceptance of the Terms of Use
