Mean maximum temperatures in the Wimmera Region are generally uniform for Nhill, Warracknabeal, Horsham and Stawell, measuring 21.5°C, 22.0°C, 21.5°C and 20.2°C respectively.

Temperature highs are usually around 30°C throughout the summer months, while often a little hotter in the north and cooler in the south. During winter, temperature highs are apprximately14°C.

Average temperature lows throughout the year are 8.0°C (Nhill), 8.7°C (Warracknabeal), 8.4°C (Horsham) and 8.6°C (Stawell). During summer, temperatures will generally fall to approximately 12-13°C and winter low temperatures are usually 3.5-4.5°C.

Mean annual rainfall is the same in Nhill as in Warracknabeal (419 mm), while Horsham and Stawell record 451 mm and 533 mm respectively.
