Common name: Spiny broom

Status: Regionally Controlled in the Wimmera and Corangamite CMAs.
Regionally Prohibited in Port Phillip & Westernport (East & West) and North East CMAs.
Restricted in the Mallee, North Central, Glenelg-Hopkins, Goulburn Broken, West Gippsland and East Gippsland CMAs.

Habitat: Warm-temperate regions growing on slightly acidic, dry, rocky soils in areas with moderate rainfall (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992).
