Status:

Regionally Prohibited in the Wimmera and West Gippsland CMAs.
Regionally Controlled in the Port Phillip & Westernport (East and West), Goulburn Broken and North East CMAs.
Restricted in the Mallee, North Central, Glenelg-Hopkins, Corangamite and East Gippsland CMAs.

Habitat:

Dodder grows under a wide range of environmental conditions (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992). It is a parasitic weed that affects a wide range of broad-leaved plants including lucerne and several vegetables (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992). Dodder invade lowland grassland and grassy woodland, riparian vegetation, freshwater wetland (seasonal) and saline and subsaline wetland (Carr
et al 1992).
