Status:


Native to Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.


Plant Description:


Small herb with prostrate to ascending stems to 15 cm long. Leaves narrow triangular to linear, 3-16 mm long and less than 1 mm wide. Flowers in small compound heads 2-5 mm wide surrounded by leaf like, stiff bracts. Each flower yellow, tube-like with tiny lobes. Flowering from late winter to mid summer.


Habitat:


Often occurring on the margins of saline depressions and around salt lakes.

Comments:

Similar to Salt Angianthus but stems are more leafy, foliage normally greener and forms less dense mats. Often drying out to a rusty-red colour.
