Water Resources in 1944
In 1944 the State Regional Boundaries Committee produced a report which included a number of maps, including one showing Victoria's Water Resources. This map provides a useful historical perspective and is provided below.

Another map in the 1944 report shows the Utilization of Water Resources - providing maps of Town Supplies and Sewerage; Irrigation Districts; Waterworks Districts and Drainage and Flood Protection Districts.
