Victoria's irrigation system provides Victoria with a competitive edge and water-based infrastructure is being upgraded in key areas. | |
 | In November 2001, there were approximately 2.5 million persons in the Victorian labour force of which 2.3 million were employed. Highest demand for labour occurs in the retail and manufacturing industries, which account for 30.8% of all persons employed in Victoria.
