Technical Reference Groups
Productive Grazing, Healthy Rivers has two regional Technical Reference Groups or TRG’s, one located in Gippsland and the other in South-West Victoria. The TRGs were established to play an important advisory role to the project team, utilising their local, specialist knowledge and technical skills. In addition the TRGs are expected to assist with dissemination of project information to a wider group than is immediately accessible to the project team.
Each TRG consists of approximately 8 people - representing landholders and various groups and agencies that are involved in service provision, extension and technical areas of natural resource management that relate to the intensive grazing industries and/or the four bioregions of this project.
The groups represented by the TRG’s include:
