The simplest approach used to describe landforms has been on the basis of their morphology . On an ad hoc basis, landforms can be described in familiar or relative terms. For example, in Victoria we have Pyramid Hill, the Camel’s Hump, the Sugarloaf, the Paps, Mt. Elephant and the ethereal Mt.
