Regional Profile
 | The approximate population of the Nort East region is just under 86 800. The most populated local government areas (LGAs) include the Rural City of Wodonga and Rural City of Wangaratta, which combine to make up 62% of the region’s total population. The North East region has experienced consistent growth in population throughout the 1990s.
