A10-10 cmBrown (7.5YR4/4); heavy clay loam; hardsetting surface condition; moderate medium subangular blocky structure (rough-faced peds); firm consistence dry; pH 7.8; abrupt change to:

B110-20 cmDark brown (7.5YR3/4); light clay; moderate coarse subangular blocky, parting to medium subangular blocky structure (rough-faced peds); very firm consistence dry; pH 8.5; abrupt change to:

B2120-35 cmDark reddish brown (5YR3/4); light medium clay; strong medium subangular blocky, parting to fine angular blocky structure (smooth-faced peds); very firm consistence slightly moist (subplastic); pH 8.9; clear and wavy change to:

B22k35-70 cmYellowish red (5YR5/6); medium clay; weak to moderate coarse polyhedral structure; very firm consistence slightly moist; fine-earth carbonates common (20%); pH 9.2.
