Streamflow Management Plans

Streamflow Management Plans (SFMPs) aim to provide a balanced and sustainable sharing of streamflows between all users in unregulated catchments. These are catchments where the stream flow is not "regulated" by controlled releases from publicly owned dams to supply water to downstream users. In these systems stream flow is exclusively generated from rainfall runoff in the catchment.

Information on Streamflow Management Plans is provided on the Goulburn Murray Water website (external link) (under Environmental Management section). Relevant reports related to the King Parrot Creek and Yea River are also available.
