The Victorian Government, working in partnership with companies and farm enterprises, is committed to meet the target of increasing Victorian food exports to $12 billion dollars by the year 2010. The Government aims to expand Victoria's agricultural and food industries from their solid base to achieve international recognition for the State as a global supplier of food.

The government also encourages and facilitates trade and investment in other industries including fibre, private forestry, and minerals and petroleum.
