Equipment Grants

To promote the use of the new voluntary Electronic NLIS (Sheep) Tags, the DPI is offering producers the opportunity to receive grants to a maximum of $2,500 for purchase of EID equipment, such as hand held or panel readers, automatic drafting, weighing and computer software. The grant may also be used for technical support in setting up equipment and systems, but is not available for the purchase of tags.

Grants will be offered on a ‘dollar for dollar’ basis.
