Spirit of the Bush Drought Concert

Over 20,000 people attended the Spirit of the Bush Drought Concert on 17 March 2007. The concert was the brainchild of country music legend Lee Kernaghan.

DPI has released a free DVD: The Hard Yard in which farming families from across Victoria share their stories about the pressures of rural life.

A range of communications materials has been produced relating to the support available for drought affected communities. The drought advertisement has appeared in local and regional newspapers in Victoria and outlines the range of drought services available to communities.

The drought flyer (A5 2 per page, PDF 47kb) has been produced to help direct drought related enquiries to the DPI Customer Service Centre, which has been nominated as the central contact point for information on Government drought initiatives. These are available for printing and distributing for persons or groups who may be receiving drought related enquiries.
