Rodeos in Victoria

In Victoria, a permit is required to operate a rodeo, under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulations.

The Code of Practice for the Welfare of Rodeo and Rodeo School Livestock in Victoria sets the minimum standards for the welfare of animals used in rodeos and rodeo schools in Victoria.
