Innovation and Research

microscopic cellsWe drive innovation in science, technology and practice through funding important research, development, demonstration, commercialisation and practice-change.

Our research aims to develop innovative farming systems to deliver economic value and environmental benefit in the temperate zone of south-east Australia, helping food and fibre producers increase competitiveness and minimise risk.

Our research also includes biotechnology, such as genomics, molecular plant breeding, gene technology and proteomics.
