Training Programs
The Farm Water Solutions project is working with a number of registered training organization’s to deliver accredited Farm Water Management training for the grazing and dairy industries. These include Rural Industries Skills Training (RIST) and the National Centre for Dairy Education (NCDEA).
A three day training course has been delivered to many DPI Farm Services Victoria staff who gained a Diploma level competency called RTE 5205A Plan and manage infrastructure requirements, from the rural production training package.
One day training courses are also available for service providers and farmers in grazing, dairy and horticultural industries to attend. One example is the DPI FarmPlan21 program, a nationally accredited course offered in a group learning environment and including a section on farm water management.
Please contact your local registered training organization for more information on what is available to suit your needs.
