Livestock Tag and Trace (LTAT) Animal Movement Database
Livestock Tag & Trace (LTAT) is a database and website system developed by the Victorian Department of Primary Industries and utilised in Victoria to collect and record information relating to the identification and tracking of livestock for disease control, food safety and market access purposes.
LTAT can also be used to record commercial and ownership information including an animal's name, physical description, breeding, diagnostic test results, reproductive performance, event history, carcase characteristics, and veterinary and chemical treatments.
Capable organisations wishing to register their interest in a licence to use the LTAT database for biosecurity or commercial purposes outside of Victoria are invited to download briefing documents from Victoria Services Pty Ltd.
