Transition Support Service (Life Coaching) 2009-10
Purpose
To provide an intensive and personalised case management support service (life coaching) to farmers accessing the Rural Financial Counselling Services (RFCS) in northern Victoria.
Details
The initiative will provide an intensive and personalised case management support service (life coaching) to farmers accessing the Rural Financial Counselling Services in northern Victoria.
The transition support service will:
- Focus on enabling dairy (and other) farmers to make broader life transition decisions;
- Provide intensive and personalised support;
- Assist existing RFCS clients that have reached blockages at key decision points in the Enterprise Action Plan process;
- Provide coaching support to make sense of the information provided from a range of referral sources to move past the ‘decision paralysis’ stage; and
- Provide a referral point for RFCS clients that need additional life decision support in parallel with the Enterprise Action Plan process (eg: social, relationships, family, skills, career, health or knowledge support).
The initiative will fund the availability of life coaching to be accessed via the Goulburn Murray Hume, North Central and Murray Mallee Rural Financial Counselling Services.
Who is eligible?
The service would be targeted at, and only available to, clients of these Rural Financial Counselling Services that have initiated the Enterprise Action Plan process.
