Do I need any additional licences or training?
If you already hold a Department of Human Services (DHS) licence to manufacture and wholesale Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) registered shelf-stable 1080 pest animal bait products, you would not require an additional licence from DHS to be able to legally manufacture APVMA registered perishable 1080 pest animal bait products. However, an amendment to your existing licence may be necessary. If you have a 1080 aqueous solution registered with the APVMA and wish to become involved in the manufacture of perishable bait, you need to contact DHS on 1300 364 545 to discuss any additional requirements.

Who can I sell 1080 pest animal bait products to?
You can supply APVMA registered 1080 pest animal bait products to other wholesalers or to retailers. It is a condition of licence that any retail premises that you supply with APVMA registered 1080 pest animal bait products will need to be Agsafe Guardian 1080 accredited.

Where can I get an updated list of accredited resellers and licensed perishable bait manufacturers?
A list of accredited resellers is available at the Agsafe website www.agsafe.com.au or call 0262304799. A list of authorised perishable bait manufacturers is available at the DHS website http://www.health.vic.gov.au/dpu/1080_baitmanuf.htm or call 1300 364 545 or email dpu@dhs.vic.gov.au
