Examples of PMS uses
The type of PMS adopted will differ depending on your needs and use. Examples include:
- Manage a single issue, e.g. environmental management system (EMS) to improve the environmental management of a property or quality assurance (QA) code of practice such as one of the ‘Care’ programs, to demonstrate adherence to QA protocols or satisfy market demands such as the National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme, an industry self-regulatory quality assurance scheme.
- Plan on-grounds works as part of developing your property.
- Satisfy environmental certification and labelling initiatives. For example, Enviromeat™ is a program where farmers produce the best product with minimal environmental impact.
