Farm Monitor Project- South West Victoria

The Farm Monitor Project in South West Victoria has been conducted by the Department of Primary Industries for 39 years.

The project provides a financial and comparative analysis of 30 beef, sheep and cropping farms in South West Victoria. This information is used to establish benchmarks for agriculture in the region, monitor trends in farm productivity and profitability and to evaluate the differences between the top performers and other farms.
