Murray Dairy news, Dairy Directions activity
Murray Dairy together with DPI Victoria invites all dairy farmers, industry members and service providers to participate in the Regional Priority Setting Sessions in your region. The priority setting workshop offers you the opportunity to tell us what you need to be successful in your farming business in the context of today’s operating environment.
Geoff Akers, Dairy Australia will present on key findings from the Southern Murray Darling Basin Inquiry and their implications for the dairy industry in your region.
We will look at the future of the dairy industry, asking questions and seeking suggestions to solve issue around what your dairy business will need now and into the future. What information, skills and research do you and the people in your business need? Is there a skill shortage or program gap in your region? How can industry service providers better communicate with you? What would you like to see happen to address these issues? How would you like to build skills and knowledge? What support do you need from industry organizations?
This is your opportunity to provide input into the directions, strategies and programs delivered with your dairy levy by service providers in dairy extension and research in the North East and the greater Murray Dairy Region.
