What's Up with the Weather?
Many farmers are wondering what the weather has in store for us.
Did you know that neutral conditions have resumed in the Pacific Ocean (neither La Nina or El Nino)? However, a weak positive Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) event is predicted to develop for winter/spring. Did you also know that a positive IOD can be associated with reduced rainfall for Victoria?
If you would like to know more about seasonal and climate risk information for the dairy industry then you really must sign up for the Milking the Weather newsletter.
Milking the Weather is a seasonal newsletter that delivers the latest seasonal climate risk information for dairy farmers, service providers and other interested subscribers. It will help you understand more about the weather you experience and will guide you to current information about climate risk.
Did we mention that is tailored specifically for the dairy industry? Or that it is available as a free email subscription?
