Entry Requirements for Pest Animals
Pest Categories:
- Prohibited Pest Animals
e.g. certain hares, specified rodents need Research or Education Collection Permit - Controlled Pest Animals
e.g. primates, elephants, black mamba, banteng cattle need Security Collection Permit [5 types] - Regulated Pest Animals
a. e.g. specified primates, turtles, gecko need statuatory Zoo Collection Permits [4 types]
b. e.g. water buffalo, american bison, bali cattleneed Permits as for 3a, or Private Collection Permit - Established Pest Animals
e.g. rabbit, fox, dingo, feral dogs, feral goats, feral pigs need Research/Education Collection/Dingo/Commercial Rabbit Permits (exception: Permit not needed for pet rabbits [max 30])
