Support for regional shows
The Agricultural and Pastoral Society Grants Program awards grants to Agricultural and Pastoral Societies as a contribution towards the upgrading of agricultural and related facilities at showgrounds and towards business planning and marketing activities.
In June 2011, the Minister for Agriculture and Food Security Peter Walsh invited Agricultural and Pastoral Societies to apply for these grants. The grants are conditional on the basis of $2 from the Government for every $1 provided by the Society.
