Forest timber

Perrin Bridge near Wandong. The magnificent timber trestle bridge, 400m long and 16m high, was named after the Conservator of Forests, George Perrin. However, the bridge was more commonly known as the 'White Elephant' because it was never used by the company. Perrin Bridge was destroyed by fire in 1929.
