Youth Employment Scheme Employee

The Victoria works for Young People scheme (formerly known as the Youth Employment Scheme YES), enables unemployed and disadvantaged young people aged 16-24, career opportunities with the Victorian government.

Recruitment for the scheme usually occurs throughout the year. Positions may be advertised in all major newspapers, online job boards such as Seek and MyCareer and also through employment agencies and group training companies in your local area.

Opportunities with us

We provide traineeships in a broad range of occupations, such as business administration, information technology, horticulture, agriculture and rural production, animal care and management, and forest and forest products.
