Welcome to the site of the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP) and the Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) in Victoria. NAP and NHT are jointly funded by the Victorian and Australian Governments.
The focus of NAP and NHT is strategic investment in natural resource management to protect and restore Victoria’s high value assets – NAP by principally tackling salinity and water quality issues, and NHT through a more general investment in the State’s natural resources.
Both of these programs are managed in Victoria by the NAP/NHT program office located in the Department of Sustainability and Environment at Epsom in Bendigo.
Follow the links on the left to find out more about NAP and NHT.
The NAP and NHT will conclude as of 30th June 2009. All funding has been committed across the state, with no further funds available under these programs.
