How to Plan Wildlife Landscapes - a guide for community organisations

How to Plan Wildlife Landscapes, published in 2002, outlines the principles used in planning for conservation of native wildlife at a landscape scale such as a neighbourhood, or part of a catchment.

It will be useful for community organisations and individuals who want to understand how to act more strategically to protect and restore wildlife landscapes.

This document forms part of the community education component of a series of publications on the subject of Biodiversity Action Planning (BAP). Biodiversity Action Planning is a structured approach to identifying priorities and mapping significant areas for native biodiversity conservation at the landscape and Bioregional scales.

Land for Wildlife provides assistance to private landholders seeking to provide habitats for wildlife on their property.
