Let's Go Fishing Cards

Fisheries Victoria has released a great new free product designed specifically for budding young anglers. The set of eight illustrated ‘Let’s Go Fishing’ cards cover species which are popular amongst recreational fishers and contain images of the appropriate fishing tackle as well as proven and popular baits. The pocket-sized cards also include a description of each species, a list of known hot spots and handy tips which otherwise take years to learn.

The cards will also be of great use to parents who would like to get their children involved in a healthy outdoor activity such as fishing but don’t have much knowledge of the sport themselves.

A full set of the eight cards will be available upon request for a limited time by calling 136186, contacting the nearest DPI office or sending an email to go.fishing@dpi.vic.gov.au and including a postal address.

The cards are also avaialble for downloading below. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the below documents. A free copy can be downloaded from Adobe Acrobat (external link).
