Education
Creating an awareness of the issues concerning Victorian fisheries, recreational fishing and the marine and freshwater environment is a key concern of the Department.
Fishing education activities focus on school education activities, the fishing fraternity and the general community.
For information, publications and resources relevant to your specific needs, sections for Teachers, Students and Volunteers have been developed.
The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) also provides education and eco- tourism services through the Marine Discovery Centre in Queenscliff.
