Victorian Rainfall Deciles 2009
Monthly rainfall totals (mm) and rainfall deciles for selected sites across Victoria are shown below. Deciles are calculated on a 1 to 10 scale with 4 to 7 being average rainfall, 1 in the lowest 10% of records and 10 in the highest 10% of records. These rainfall deciles are generated using "Rainman", a decision support computer tool developed by the Queensland - Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (external link).
The tables show monthly rainfall and deciles for each month, the year to date, the summer and the growing season to date. The growing season is April to October for all locations, except the South West (April to November).
