The Department of Primary Industries through the Bureau of Animal Welfare has established the Wildlife and Small Institutions AEC to provide for small institutions or organisations unable to maintain a viable AEC. The AEC has generated guidelines (PDF 14 Kb) for the use of wildlife in research. For more information on access to this Committee, contact the Bureau of Animal Welfare on animal.welfare@dpi.vic.gov.au.
