Animal use data

There is a regulatory requirement for reports on the use of animals by licensed institutions to be made to the Secretary of the Department of Primary Industries on a yearly basis. This return is to be provided by 31 March of each year. Licence-holders will be contacted prior to that date.

Returns data are compiled to produce the "Statistics of Animal Experimentation Victoria".
