protect Victoria from biosecurity threats that affect our primary industries, environment, social amenity and human health
understand and address emerging risks that may arise from climate change, changes in land use and increasing global travel and trade.
The Biosecurity Strategy for Victoria builds on the current system and sets out the actions required to ensure we are well positioned to meet future biosecurity challenges.
Building partnerships; strengthening the coverage of our biosecurity system; improving decision making and prioritising investment; building skills and capability; and improving our surveillance and incursion response systems will be critical to our success.
